ECI has developed a program that assists clients with all aspects of stormwater management. Our expertise and experience give us the ability to assess each client’s specific needs and to interact with the regulatory community helping our clients to avoid costly project delays and possible compliance issues. With the implementation of the new stormwater management regulations and the mandate for immediate compliance by all property owners / operators and local governments, stormwater management and monitoring has become critical to the development and maintenance of property throughout the region.
The use of proper Source Control and Best Management Practices (BMPs) remain the primary focus for stormwater management. Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans (SPCC) and National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits can also be required depending on the facility and the effluent discharge location. ECI provides these and many other services to property owners and operators throughout the region.
In developing our stormwater program, ECI continually interviews local government and regulatory agencies with the intention of acquiring a timeline on their inspection procedures for current stormwater systems. ECI works with both the regulatory agency and the property owners and operators to not only satisfy the immediate stormwater requirements but to educate and implement system upgrades to avoid future compliance issues.
The implementation of a proficient stormwater maintenance program is key to meeting regulatory storm water requirements. ECI works with each client to ascertain their facilities needs and how best to implement these requirements.
